Rubus conanicutensis : ウィキペディア英語版 | Rubus conanicutensis
''Rubus conanicutensis'' called the Conanicut Island blackberry,〔(Tree of Life, Rubus L., 1753 )〕 is a rare North American species of flowering plant in the rose family. It has been found only in the State of Rhode Island in the northeastern United States.〔(Biota of North America Program 2014 county distribution map )〕〔Bailey, Liberty Hyde. 1932. Gentes Herbarum; Occasional Papers on the Kinds of Plants 5(9): 801, 804, figure 369〕 Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay, part of the Town of Jamestown, Rhode Island. The genetics of ''Rubus'' is extremely complex, so that it is difficult to decide on which groups should be recognized as species. There are many rare species with limited ranges such as this. Further study is suggested to clarify the taxonomy.〔(Flora of North America, ''Rubus'' Linnaeus, 1754. Bramble )〕 ==References==
